Our Story
Kroon Interior Designers was founded in 2012 by Dutch interior designer Anja Kroon, with a clear focus on creating timeless, high-end interiors shaped by European design principles and international living standards.
The studio is based in both the Netherlands and Dubai, serving private and commercial clients across the UAE, Europe and international locations. A significant part of the client base consists of Dutch homeowners and investors purchasing property in the UAE who value clear communication, structured processes and familiar design expectations.
Over the years, Kroon Interior Designers has developed into an international luxury interior design studio, working alongside a trusted network of architects, landscape architects and project managers. This enables full-service interior design, from concept development to execution, across borders.
The studio is known for its personal approach, attention to detail and timeless aesthetic. Every interior is designed around the client’s lifestyle, the architecture of the property and long-term use, resulting in spaces that remain relevant and refined over time.

About Anja Kroon
Born in the Netherlands, Anja Kroon has over 23 years of international experience in luxury residential and commercial interior design. She works on high-end homes, villas and commercial projects across the Middle East, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as Europe.
Now living in Dubai, Anja has an in-depth understanding of the local market and has built an extensive network of trusted suppliers, contractors and specialists across the UAE. This local presence allows for efficient communication, reliable execution and full project oversight.
With a background in architecture and a specialisation in renovation and transformation projects, supported by studies in London, Anja combines creative vision with strong technical knowledge.
Anja is personally involved in every interior design project, guiding clients from concept to completion. Her approach translates a client’s vision into refined, functional interiors, tailored to luxury living in the Middle East and designed to stand the test of time.

Whether the goal is finding the right statement piece or designing an entire luxury home, the studio works with a clear step-by-step process. Clients stay informed, involved and confident from the first concept to the final styling.
Listening is the foundation of every project. Kroon Interior Designers begins by understanding your lifestyle, aspirations and how the space will be used. Together, a clear and detailed design brief is created, defining design preferences, functional requirements and budget.
Based on this foundation, a concept design is developed. This proposal translates your vision into a clear interior direction, ensuring alignment before the next phase of the design process.
In this phase, the design is translated into clear floor plans and elevations. These drawings ensure that the layout, proportions and functionality fully reflect your vision before moving forward.
Once the designs are aligned and approved, the project progresses to the next stage of the interior design process.
The ordering phase is a critical part of the project. During this stage, all furniture, finishes and materials are carefully ordered in line with the approved design.
Kroon Interior Designers thoroughly reviews specifications with manufacturers and suppliers, including dimensions, finishes, fabrics, technical details and colour selections. Every element is checked, scheduled and ordered with precision to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the project.
During the execution phase, Kroon Interior Designers oversees the full implementation of the design. All parties involved are coordinated, including contractors, suppliers and specialists, to ensure the project runs smoothly and according to plan.
Project management focuses on quality control, timing and clear communication. By managing the process on site and remotely where needed, the design is executed accurately and delivered in line with the agreed concept, specifications and schedule.
A strong start leads to a confident finish. Because the interior design process has been carefully planned and managed, the final phase is calm and well organised.
